Medical Clinic is Complete!

Father Kingsley and DMIWOO had been running a once-a-year medical mission for several years.

These missions helped many thousands of people. But Fathers’ dream was bigger than a once-a-year medical clinic.  

While many of the medical staff wouldn’t mind volunteering more often, it was a huge burden to cart in all the equipment and supplies needed to run a clinic.  To provide medical care every month would mean creating a permanent building where equipment and supplies could be stored.  

A group from Most Holy Trinity Church in Wallingford, Connecticut, heard of the work that Father was doing in Obike and his dream of building a permanent clinic to save lives year-round.

In September of 2017, this group came up with a plan to raise money and make this happen.  

In January of 2018 the Village Elders got together and donated the land to Divine Mercy Medical Clinic. 

On August 19, 2018 was our groundbreaking for the medical building and the cornerstone was ceremoniously laid. 

And, in January of 2023 the Divine Mercy Medical Center had its Grand Opening!
